Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the website kovagoalie.fi and purchases made through it.
The site is operated by Kova Goalie Oy, a company registered in Finland (Business ID: FI23777911).

By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

All prices are listed in US dollars (USD) by default. Other currencies (EUR, SEK, CAD) may be available for reference, but the final charge will be made in USD based on your payment provider’s exchange rate at the time of purchase.

Prices include VAT for customers within the EU. For orders outside the EU, VAT will be deducted automatically at checkout.

From orders outside of EU, you might be subject to duties/ taxes / tariffs which will be charged by local customs officers or the courier used. Kova Goalie is not responsible for the duties, taxes or tariffs set by your country.

We reserve the right to adjust prices, shipping costs, and product information without prior notice.

Orders can be placed through the kovagoalie.fi online store. Payment methods are provided by our trusted payment partners (Kustom, Stripe).
Kova Goalie Oy does not process or store your credit card or financial information directly.

You will receive an order confirmation via email once your order is accepted.

Custom-made products (e.g., personalized goalie gear) typically take 1–4 weeks to produce.
In-stock products are normally shipped within 2 weeks after order confirmation.

If delays occur, we will notify you as soon as possible.

We currently do not ship to Russia or Belarus due to the situation in Ukraine.

Orders are shipped via international courier services (UPS, FedEx, or equivalent).
Shipping costs are displayed at checkout.

Once your order has been shipped, Kova Goalie Oy is no longer responsible for delays or damages caused by the carrier. Any claims for lost or damaged parcels should be directed to the courier.

You may return non-customized products within 14 days of delivery in accordance with EU consumer protection law.

Custom-made products are non-refundable unless there is a manufacturing defect.
Returned products must be unused, in original condition, and in their original packaging.

Refunds cover the product price only. Original shipping costs are not refunded.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed.

All Kova Goalie products come with a limited warranty:

8 months for Neck guards, suspenders and other accessories except:

3 months for toe ties.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects only. It does not apply to damage caused by misuse, accidents, negligence, alteration, or normal wear and tear.
The warranty is void if products are machine-washed, altered, or used outside their intended purpose.

Ice hockey is a contact sport that carries an inherent risk of physical injury.
Kova Goalie Oy products are designed to provide protection, but no product can prevent all injuries.

By purchasing and using our products, the user acknowledges and accepts that:

The use of hockey equipment is at their own risk.

Kova Goalie Oy is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages arising from the use or misuse of our products.

Kova Goalie Oy’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed the purchase price of the product in question.

If you are unsure about the correct use or fit of any product, contact us before use.

All content on this website, including text, images, product designs, graphics, logos, and other materials, are the property of Kova Goalie Oy or its partners and are protected by international copyright and trademark laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website for commercial purposes without prior written permission from Kova Goalie Oy.

Unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in legal action.

We respect your privacy.
Your personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Finnish law.
Any disputes shall be resolved primarily through negotiation.
If no agreement can be reached, the dispute shall be settled in the District Court of Helsinki, Finland.

These terms and conditions are valid until further notice. We reserve the right to change our delivery terms. The customer must familiarize himself / herself with the current terms of delivery before placing the order.
